The southwest light gives a special glow to the surroundings. The room features a mahogany queen four poster, fireplace, and large whirlpool. The colors here are mauve, lilac, and apricot.
A reproduction turn-of-the-century French wallpaper highlights birds and flowers, and grass paper trim are authentic to the house. Some of the furniture in this room is original to the house as well. Books for sale here are on gardening, horticulture, and bird watching, but expect a volume or two of contemporary fiction. The bathroom features a large Jacuzzi tub and Vermont spa products, including "Tension Tamer" relaxing bath salts.
