A queen sized mahogany sleigh bed dominates the room, and books for sale here include children's selections from many generations.
Adorned with an antique children's school desk, and a few remnants of toys from other generations, the room will inspire the child in all of us.
What were your favorites when you were a child? Nancy Drew? Black Beauty? The Jungle Book perhaps...
Note: This room is only rented as part of a suite with the Rose Room, or with the Cook's Room using a shared bathroom.
GUS, our life-sized gargoyle, sits atop our roof and protects the house from evil spirits, or at least from evil illiteracy spirits!
