Many people, including our own
children, consider this
their favorite room.
The southwest light gives a special
glow to the surroundings. The room features a mahogany queen four
poster, fireplace, and large whirlpool. The colors here are mauve,
lilac, and apricot, set off by an antique hand hooked rug. A reproduction
turn-of-the-century French wallpaper highlights birds and flowers,
and grass paper trim are authentic to the house. Some of the furniture
in this room is original to the house as well. Books for sale
here are on gardening, horticulture, and bird watching. Rate - $240.
